TERMS AND CONDITION

Insurance Claim

 

9.1

 

    Any insurance claim shall include a police report and medical claim certificate to the Secretariat and certified by the agency's head.
  9.2
      Approval of claim will be at the jurisdiction of the insurance company.

 

Supervisor's Responsibility

 

10.1

 

 

    The participant must ensure that the job description is submitted to the Secretariat with the supervisor's profile attached and updated in the CBG System.
  10.2 Any changes to the job description must be notified to the Secretariat through the CBG system.
 

10.3

 

Submission of the participant's attendance list must be done by the 21st of each month for processing of the monthly allowances through the CBG System. No processing of allowance shall be done without the submission of the attendance list.
  10.4 The participant must ensure all questionnaires and assessment forms are completed as required from time to time by the Secretariat through the CBG System.
 

10.5

The participant must update his/ her profile regularly.

 

10.6

The participant must complete the periodic assessment as required.


Behaviour Code

 

11.1

 

    The participant is required to observe and not violate codes of conduct being enforced in the agency where the participant is placed.
 

11.2

 

 

      The Secretariat reserves the right to terminate any participant who failed to abide and observe the rules and codes of conduct (as stated in paragraph 11.1) and the terms and conditions regulating this programme.


Acceptance of Offer

 

12.1

 

 

The participant is required to sign the letter of acceptance as in Appendix A and submit to the Secretariat together with a passport photograph and copies of IC,  degree/diploma, EPF certificate and bank account within 10 days from the date of reporting for duty.

  12.2

The participant is required to make declaration of fitness by completing the form as in Appendix B.

  12.3 The offer shall be null and void after 14 days from the date of the letter.
  12.4 No change of transfer is allowed once the participant is placed in the agency.
 

12.5

 

The participant who is continuing the programme and have submitted the relevant documents earlier, is   required to sign the Letter of Acceptance as in Appendix C.


Termination of Training

  13.1 The participant shall be terminated from the training upon any of the following reasons:
   
i.   Not possessing the valid degree or diploma and any relevant certificates.
ii.   Using false information for application to the programme.
iii.   Poor health condition.
iv.   Involvement in illegal activities or committing crime.
v.   Involvement in activities that bring harm or disrespect to the agency or the Government.
vi.   Illegal usage of drugs or trafficking of illegal substances.
vii.   Poor performance during the placement training.
vii.   Failure to attend compulsory training required in the programme.
ix.   Refusal to accept job absorption offer by the agency.
x.   Absent without valid reason for more than 3 days.

 

  13.2 The participating agency is not allowed to terminate the participant, except by the Secretariat.


Resignation

 

14.1

 

 

One week (7 days) notice of resignation in advance must be submitted to the Secretariat through the agency's head or the assigned supervisor. A resignation form is downloadable from the CBG website and must be submitted together with the notice.
 

14.2

 

The supervisor is required to ensure all properties belonging to the agency are returned by the participant upon resignation.

 

14.3

 

The supervisor must also inform the Secretariat any resignation by the participant in advance, within the 7 days notice.
  14.4
  • The participant who has resigned or declined the training offer is not allowed to rejoin the programme.
 

14.5

 

 

The participant MUST reimburse the Government for any overpayment of allowance made immediately upon request .This MUST be done NOT LATER than 1 month, from the date of issuance of the demand letter.
  14.6 The Secretariat reserves the right to undertake legal action for recovery of any monies due.


Authority of The Secretariat

  15.1 Any discrepancies in the Terms & Conditions shall be referred to the Secretariat for final consideration.
  15.2

The Secretariat has the right to change, add or delete the terms and conditions as it deems fit.
