TERMS AND CONDITION

Program Name

  1.1 This Program is known as the Capacity Building for Graduates Sarawak or CBG.


Program Duration

  2.1 The duration of this programme is for a period ending 30th June 2013.


Assignment of Placement

 

3.1

Assignment of participant's placement is at the discretion of the Secretariat.
  3.2 The Secretariat reserves the right to place and/or change the placement location it deems fit.


Reporting for Duty

 

4.1

 

The participant shall report to the assigned agency on the date stated in the offer letter or on schedules determined in writing by the Secretariat.
 

4.2

 

The confirmation letter will be prepared by the placement agency and submitted immediately to the Secretariat stating the date of reporting and name of the assigned supervisor.
 

4.3

 

The participant must submit certified copies of original certificates, IC, transcripts and any related credentials to the agency.
 

4.4

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The participant must submit the following to the Secretariat :

  A recent passport size photo
ii.
  A copy of degree/diploma
iii
  A Health Confirmation Letter
iv
  A copy of IC
v
  An EPF Certificate
vi
  A copy of bank account details

 

  4.5 The participant must adhere strictly to the agency’s rules and regulations.


Working Hours

 

5.1

 

The working hours shall be in accordance to the normal working hours of the agency. Shift duty will be at the discretion of the agency with prior notification to the Secretariat.


Leave

  6.1
      The participant is entitled to an earned annual leave as follows:

  6.2 Any leave taken, besides the above, shall be unpaid.
 

6.3

 

Application for leave must be forwarded in the specified form of the agency with a copy forwarded to the Secretariat.
 

6.4

 

An unpaid maternity leave of not more than two (2) months can be approved with supporting letter(s) from the clinic or hospital
  6.5 Ordinary leave shall be granted only after three (3) months period into the training.
  6.6 No other paid leave shall be considered besides those mentioned in 6.1 and 6.4

 

Allowance & Overtime

  7.1
    The following amount of training allowance will be paid to the participant:

7.2

 

Contribution to EPF by the participant is 11% of the allowance received while 12% is the contribution by the Government.
 

7.3

 

A contribution of RM2 and RM1, will be deducted for Muslim participant with degree and diploma holders respectively, to Baitulmal.
  7.4 Payment of monthly allowance will be made between the 8th - 15th day of each subsequent month.
  7.5 Travelling allowance is to be paid by the participant's agency on the following basis (minimum) for any official travelling required by the agency:

7.6

 

For any travelling outside the state or country, approval from the Secretariat must be obtained giving the destination, purpose, and duration of travelling.
 

7.7

 

Overtime claims shall be paid by the agency based on the following table, subject to the agency’s discretion.

7.8

Top up allowances for the participant is allowed with written notification to the Secretariat.  

 

Cources

  8.1 The participant MUST attend all courses and training directed by the Secretariat from time to time.
 

8.2

 

 

Compulsory courses such as Orientation Programme MUST be attended by the participant at the respective place and date directed by the Secretariat. Any deferment must have the written approval of the Secretariat, subject to a maximum of two (2) approved deferments.
  8.3 The participant shall select the courses offered in the programme and must register through the CBG website.
  8.4 The participant shall sign the prescribed agreement for long-term course and pay the prescribed fees as mentioned in the course notices.
  8.5 The supervisor MUST allow the participant to attend the courses organized by the Secretariat.
